Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

In case you remember this movie, Good Morning, "telling the story of two Japanese boys who beg their parents for a television set, nagging incessantly until they're ordered to be quiet. The children take the command literally and refuse to speak ..."

boy: I want a tv set!
father: that's too much talking!
boy: so do grownups! "Hello! - Good morning! - Good evening! - A fine day! - where to? - just a way! - is that so? " ... a lot of talk!

As a supposedly grown up, I sometimes think I should talk less about the tv set and focus more on the supposedly-random "hello, how are you?" thing... farting would be still okay.

Yasujiro Ozu's Good Morning (1959)
"Depicting suburban Tokyo in the 1950s and the ordered social structure of Japanese culture, this film tells the story of two Japanese boys who beg their parents for a television set, nagging incessantly until they're ordered to be quiet. The children take the command literally and refuse to speak -- at all. Their disobedience and bad manners begin to take a toll on their family as well as the community in which they live.", Netflix
